ComgyOS is eligible for public funding in Germany (BAFA)

Germany has set the ambitious goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2045. To achieve this goal, it is essential to use energy, gas, water, and other resources more efficiently. But how can companies contribute to this without costs spiraling out of control? One solution is the revised “Federal Funding for Energy Efficiency in the Economy” (EEW) program from BAFA, which has significantly simplified access to financial support.

Funding Details

Under Module 3 of the BAFA funding program, various investments are eligible for support to help companies improve their energy efficiency. These include:

  • Acquisition, installation, and commissioning of software solutions to support an energy management system (EnMS).
  • Control and regulation technology to improve energy-saving processes efficiently.
  • Project management and consulting for the optimal implementation of energy management solutions.
  • Training to ensure that personnel can effectively operate the EnMS.
  • Costs for cloud services, provided the EnMS software is used as such.
  • Development of a measurement concept by external parties to optimize the collection and analysis of energy consumption data.

For SMEs, up to 45% of the investment costs are subsidized, while larger companies can receive up to 25% funding.
